What's the best way of seasoning meat? With what given spices go well? Here are some tips:

Spices and herbs added to meat can be used in various forms, dried or grinded. Many of them go well with poultry – we spice it, for example, with estragon, curry, thyme and savoury; the latter spice perfectly highlights the taste of fried chicken.

An interesting combination will be a pinch of cardamom with chicken or duck. But cardamom is a spice which tastes great also with lamb, minced meat, and fish. It's also an excellent addition to sausages.

Another excellent spice combined with meats is savoury - a herb popular in Balkans, among others. Thanks to it, dishes will have a unique aroma and become light.

Caraway is simply irreplaceable in the kitchen. You can use it, for example, to spice fat roasts, beef, pork, mutton, as well as stew, tripe or grilled sausages.

The flavour of meat is also emphasised by various exotic combinations. Garam masala is an aromatic mix of herbs characteristic for Indian cuisine. It may contain, for example, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, cumin, coriander, black or cayenne pepper, nutmeg.
